I agree ... I've never waited as long as they tell you. Sometimes I wasn't ready to eat until about 30 minutes...ya know cleaning up, etc....but they arrived within 10 minutes. So....we sat down and enjoyed.
Also - don't forget to order some sandwiches and cookies/fruit etc. at night to take as a picnic for when you are at an island. This was one of the best suggestions given to us. We would pack the stuff in a little cooler we had brought onboard and the next morning we were ready to go. And we saved money. The only advice I would give is - read the room service menu carefully. I thought the fruit bowl was a bowl of cut up fruit so I ordered 2....they were full fruits (apples, bananas, et.) We did eat them, but...
And a while ago someone posted about their child who was hungry for chicken fingers (they wanted 6 fingers)....so they ordered...6 chicken fingers. Imagine their surprise when 6 PLATES of chicken fingers arrived.
Anyway, room service is great. We took full advantage of it.
