Room Service Question

Hi ya'll,
Just wondering if you can order non-breakfast items during breakfast hours from the room service menu. I would assume you can't pre-order non-breakfast items the night before but just in general. I don't like to eat breakfast foods very often and would much rather have a ham & cheese or turkey sandwich for breakfast. I realize room service is 24 hours a day but are there specific hours when non-breakfast food is not available

There is a menue in the Service Book on the nightstand by the bed that has items available 24/7. PB&J, cheese and crackers, turkey and ham and cheese sandwiches with fires....thats all I can remember. It is available 24 hrs. The tags for AM room service are in the desk drawer. Service was great, about only a 20 minute wait!

The last time we cruised it rained alot---so one afternoon we ordered Coffee and cake, from room service. We sat on the veranda watched the rain and sipped our coffee...........it made the bad weather seem not so bad!!

Is room service included in the proce of the cruise. If so, I assume that does not include tips. What percentage for tips, or is the gratuity added to the bill?

Yes, room service is included in the price of your cruise except for sodas and alcohol.

There are no "guidelines" or "suggestions" for room service tipping. My personal <i><b>suggestions</b></i> are as follows:

$2 minimum.
$1 for each additional person receiving service.
$1 if all you're getting is coffee or tea.

So you'll want to start saving single dollar bills prior to your cruise.

just to pass on what we did...we ordered 2 cheese and cracker trays and took them to the movies with us, it was healthier than popcorn, although their bagged popcorn was cheaper than the theatre..it was also romantic to take the trays at night and sit on the deck at the days at sea...we tipped 2 dollars for room service...get 50 ones before you go...you will be glad you did
