Room service on embarkation day?

Was thinking about ordering a fruit and cheese tray when we first board to go with the adult and kid bubbly toast. Are they open by sail-away time? Paid for the sweets on a previous cruise and we just wasted them.

Yes, they're open pretty early. We ordered lunch through room service around 1:45-2 pm instead of going to the buffet.
