Room service offerings???

Hello!!


What kinds of food does DCL offer for room service? Just wondering as I am planning a trip for our extended family and am trying to get as much information as possible so they can make a decision as to if they are coming along or not and I didn't know the answer to this. Thanks so much!

That was actually the first place I checked, but didn't see anything. I'll have to check again. Thank you for your help though! Anyone else know the answer?

I found it a pretty limited menu. There were sandwiches, chicken fingers, cookies, coffee....really no hot meals that I remember. The chicken fingers and cookies were VERY good though!

They also have soups and a cheese platter.....you can also ask them for other things not listed on the room service menu like those yummy Mickey ice cream bars....

True you cannot get a dinner from the dining rooms through room service (unless you are in one of the higher category suites, but we have always found the offerings enough).

There are several web site that list some/all of the DCL menus.. We are not allowed to list some of them here as some are run by TAs. You might try a google search.

As to the room service menu....it isn't extensive, but there are a couple choices in each food category. The chili is good, and they will serve it without some of the toppings if you prefer. The manicotti is good. There are a couple of sandwiches, a couple desserts, etc. The cheese platter (All Hands on Deck) varies in quality and selection on different days. DD loves Rice Krispies and chicken fingers (not at the same time). You can get some things that are not on the room service menu--like Mickey bars.

The system is good. When you call, your name and cabin number must flash on their screen--DD was amazed that they knew her cabin number without her telling them.

If you sail in concierge level, you can get food from the regular dining rooms via room service.
