Room Service Free?????

I HAVE READ THAT SOMETHINGS FROM ROOM SREVICE ARE FREE. IS THIS TRUE AND WHAT IS FREE AND WHAT IS NOT?

have to pay for alcohol and soda
and also tip the person who brings the room service (obviously)

It's great having it free (oops, I mean included) but we found that we only used it for breakfast occasionally or for a snack late at night. There is so much other food everywhere you turn that when we returned to our stateroom, we weren't all that hungry. But...it is great to have there waiting for you!

Not everything is "free" from room service. They do offer peanunts, popcorn, candy, and a few other items (including soda)that there is an additional charge for. Potatoe chips are "free" however. I would love to know the logic behind what the charge for and what they don't!
