Room Service at WL...how does it work?

Never done this, and thinking of trying it out in Feb. If I want to order breakfast the next day, do I put in my order the night before? Do I call it in, or fill out a card?

I'm assuming it works just like at any other hotel in the world - you call it in and up it comes 20-30 minutes later.....am I wrong?? Is it different with Disney?

I believe all the deluxe resorts have a card that you can hang on your door to order breakfast. It has all the items on it and you just put the quanity next to the items you want & then choose the time range you want (example 7-7:30am). You hang it on your door the night before (I believe by midnight ) and the next day they will bring your food during your specified time range.

I'm seen them at AKL and BW, but I'm pretty sure all the deluxe resorts offer this. Or you can always just call up in the morning and place an order.

I don't like pre-arranged breakfast delivery. Personally I would ask your family the night before what they would like and call it in that morning. I tend to find that if you pre-order via the door hang tag they make the food too early and it sometimes arrive not as hot as I would like it. I usually call in my order in the morning, hop in the shower and the food is delivered shortly after getting out of the shower. Breakfast with a steaming cup of tea after a soothing shower sitting around in my fluffy robe is just vacation heavenly.

I have never personally used the hang card to order room service. Like you, I usually just call when I wake up while everyone is getting ready.
