Is there an extra fee for room service on DCL? I'm new to cruising, and we leave for WDW Land/Sea tomorrow at 6 am!!!!

Anyway, what have you ordered from room service? Do you have to wait long?

I think my kids would really get a kick out of it!

The food from room service is included in the price of the cruise. But if you order cokes they are not included. Also most people tip the person bring the food a couple of dollars.

I have not been on our cruise yet. But I've read on here the All Hands on Deck cheese platter is good. Also you can order mickey bars. And they have good cookies. These are all the things we plan on ordering for ourselves.

Have ordered many times from room service. We like the turkey sandwiches which come with chips and we always order a salad with it.

The fresh fruit bowl is great (whole fruits - not cut up) along with the choc. chip cookies. Our daughter has ordered the pizza which she said was also good.

Have a wonderful time.

My family ordered several times from room service during our cruise. We never waited more than 15-20 minutes for our order. The food was always the right temperature when it arrived. My DS's favorite was the the chicken tenders and my DD enjoyed the fruit. Personally I loved the chocolate chip cookies...yum, yum! :goodvibes

Enjoy your cruise and try room service!

Room service was usually pretty quick...the only time it took more than 20 minutes was when I called at 3am, then it took them close to half hour to come.

When you call room service, they usually tell you it will be 30 minutes. Then they arrive in 15-20. They have a system where when you call, they automatically have your name and cabin number--that really impressed my DD. After 12 cruises, room service is one of her favorite things. It was much cuter when she was 10 or 11. Now she knows exactly what to say!

All hands on deck is good (most of the time). It's cheese and crackers...sometimes with fruit and nuts. Mickey bars are great. Rice Krispies are DD's favorite. Big Island Cookies!!!! Mickey bars (not on the menu, but you can get them). You will pay for soda and alcohol, not for food, milk, etc. Kids will need to know what kind of milk they want (skim, 2%, whole).

Funny things can happen with room service orders....like the time DD tried to order 3 Rice Krispies with only one bowl. She got 3 RKs and a total of 4 bowls--it seems that the system says that RK comes with a bowl, and the staff didn't quite understand what she was saying.

Chili is good. Manicotti is good. Chicken fingers and fries are great!
