When you call room service, they usually tell you it will be 30 minutes. Then they arrive in 15-20. They have a system where when you call, they automatically have your name and cabin number--that really impressed my DD. After 12 cruises, room service is one of her favorite things. It was much cuter when she was 10 or 11. Now she knows exactly what to say!
All hands on deck is good (most of the time). It's cheese and crackers...sometimes with fruit and nuts. Mickey bars are great. Rice Krispies are DD's favorite. Big Island Cookies!!!! Mickey bars (not on the menu, but you can get them). You will pay for soda and alcohol, not for food, milk, etc. Kids will need to know what kind of milk they want (skim, 2%, whole).
Funny things can happen with room service orders....like the time DD tried to order 3 Rice Krispies with only one bowl. She got 3 RKs and a total of 4 bowls--it seems that the system says that RK comes with a bowl, and the staff didn't quite understand what she was saying.
Chili is good. Manicotti is good. Chicken fingers and fries are great!
