Does anyone know the best way to contact SSR to put through a room request ?

You will need to add your request to your booking through whoever you booked with.

Another option is to use online check in.

You can't call the resort, the number would take you through to a central office, not the resort itself. Adding the request to your booking really is the best way of doing it.

Agreed. Call whoever you booked with and ask to add your requests to your file

Online check in will only allow you to make very basic requests.
Usually OLCI preferences are : floor, close to transportation, and things like that, and you can only tick 2 preferences.
If you have a building preference, or a specific area, you won't be able to be that specific during online check in.

Stayed there three times and not got room request. However, each time I have asked if there was any chance of changing to my requested area and they have.

We always tell them when we book,
I asked for paddock again this trip and I'm 3 rooms away from our room last yr with an amazing view of epcot fireworks

I put a note on the booking request and during online check in but when we got there the room wasn't suitable as my son uses a wheelchair. it wasn't a problem they moved us to grandstand on the bottom level. Beautiful view of the golf course and easy to get everywhere
