Room reservations and 180+10 question

We need to put 2 days at the beginning of our DVC stay because we used up all our available points. I would like to make dining reservations, especially at BOG, based on Dec. 8 when we will be somewhere on property, but Central REservations would only let me book at rack rate because no discounts are posted yet.

Can I book where I want and then call in August to see what discounts I might get? I have AAA, AARP, DVC, AP and Disney Visa, so hopefully something will give me credit.

I am asking if they will apply an eligible discount to a resrvation I have already made?

Yes! They will apply one discount to a reservation that you have already made.

Thanks. Will they let you change your resort without affecting any dining reservations? Just curious.

Your dining reservations are independent of your resort reservation so changing resorts won't affect your ADRs.

If a discount comes out you can call and have it applied to your resort res provided your resort/room category and dates are included in the special and there are rooms available. If something better comes out after that you can modify your reservation again. You can't stack discounts so do the math and choose the best one.
