Room Requests?

Are you able to email in and give room requests as far as what floor or building you would like to be in? We do this when we go to the Caribbean so I wasn't sure if people do this here as well. We fly out next friday to the AOA!!

No, you can't email requests. You have to call if you want to add requests to your reservation.

I think most of the resorts have stopped taking faxes, but I'm not sure if all of them have. I do know the WL is one that stopped taking faxes a few years ago.

You can call whenever you want and they will add the request to your reservation. If you opt to do online check-in, you will be given the option to add certain requests then as well.

Faxes go in the trash these days. You call 407-W-DISNEY to add requests, and they can be added at the time you make your reservation, or anytime after that. No need to wait.

It is good to make a request ahead of time, but they can't promise you will get it.

In the excessive amount of times I have stayed, I have not made a request ahead of time.

All of the times I have asked when I arrive, it has never been a problem for a cast member to find me a room that better fits my needs. (Value all the way up to DVC)

Now, if you paid for standard and want to stay preferred, then your not going to get that. If they have a room that is the same type as what you paid for, they will call who they need to make it work out.
