Room Requests

I apologize if this has been addressed, but I can't seem to find a good thread on it. We are checking in to PBH on the 3rd. Our flight arrives very early, so I assume our room will not be ready (by 10:30 am). My husband loves an "outdoor space" with his room, and I read that balconies are limited. I wondered if I should put a room request in prior to arrival, and if so, if I should mention 1) that we'll be arriving early and 2) that we want a balcony. Our reservation is with a promo code, so I am guessing any upgrades are unlikely. We are really looking forward to this trip, as the last time we came it was combined with Disney and we stayed on site for just two days. This time, we will stay four nights and are hopeful it will be pretty relaxing! We'll move over to Sea World for a couple of nights at the end for some time with the inlaws. Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Just a garden view. We won't be upset either way but thought it was worth a request. Looking forward to our trip!

The 3rd of November you stand a decent chance of an upgrade. If you want a patio/balcony you will need an upgrade to a bayview or a deluxe room. Even then those rooms are limited. Are you a Loews member?

I am. We have only stayed once, though. Two years ago we stayed at RPR for two nights and really liked the calmness of Universal compared with the go,go,go of Disney. It is also my daughter's birthday (November 1), which I believe I mentioned when I made the reservation. She is pretty excited! Thanks for your help.

Good luck and happy birthday to your daughter! I would call and request a balcony/patio on your reservation now. Then, ask again at check-in. Also make sure your Loews number is in your reservation.
