Hi. We leave for our 4 night trip, staying at Poly, in about a month. I want to make a longhouse request. Has anyone (who has booked with Travelocity) been able to put in a room request? I called Disney the other day and they said we could not do it through them. :confused3

Thanks!

Travelocity owns the reservation until you are standing at the check in counter. They would have to note the requests.

Since you bought the room from Travelocity, that's who I would contact.

Rooms blocked for places like travelocity and expedia are kind of a pain in the butt for hotels. My understanding is that Disney actually assigns special people to handle it and calls them "wholesale" or "warehouse" or something like that.

They may not have even received your name yet. Travelocity buys a bunch of rooms. Then they sell them to people like you and at some point after you buy it, they'll fax your name over to Disney to attach to one of their rooms.

So, the person you talked to may be right. They may not be able to tinker with your reservation.

And if you show up and are told that they don't have a reservation in the system for you, call Travelocity. I'd bring my confirmation (or "itinerary" or whatever they call it) number with me, just in case. :)

I faxed the resort directly 4 days before my arrival at AKL, and I called Wilderness Lodge directly. 5 days out and the resort has your reservation, they can help you at that time!
