Room Requests...first "real" Universal stay

Hi...we are checking in this Sunday at Royal Pacific. It is the first time we are taking a trip solely to Universal and I am nervous. I know Disney inside and out. (We stayed at Universal for 1 night last year after our Disney vacation but we weren't there long enough to learn anything!)

This may sound silly, but I did not realize that they had pet friendly rooms. My daughter is highly allergic...is it too late to request a room away from those rooms?

Any other advice about staying on Universal properly is highly appreciated! We will be there from Sunday - Friday and plan to visit the parks 2 or 3 days and Sea World once. I am sure we'll also visit City Walk but I don't remember it being very big?? I am afraid we are going to be bored and not know what to do with ourselves. At Disney, we are always going going going!

Yes, I would call and explain the allergy. There are three towers and usually pets are in tower 2 on the first and second floors. Tower 3 is always pet free but I have heard tower 1 has the occasional pet. Either way they will accommodate your request.

CityWalk is lots of fun and plenty to do and see. Huge movie theatre too. Visit the other hotels at night. Hope you have a great time.

There are activities by the pool during the day for the kids and there are special movie nights by the pool at RPR as well. Hard Rock has movie night by the pool too. RPR has a luau which is a good show...my family enjoyed the show this past Aug during our 5 day/4 night stay at RPR....but they weren't too thrilled with the food selection.
