We are 9 days out from our reservation at POP! If we want to make a room request, how do I do that directly with the resort? Can I email a request? If so, to whom do I send it?

When we went in May I called the resort directly to make my request.It was much easier to explain my request to a real person,and I got all my requests fulfilled.This may not be the case for everyone but it never hurts to ask.

Did you use the number from a Pop website? If so, that was still just a call center. Even when you call the "front desk" from your room, it is a call center and they will answer as if they are actually there, but they are not. . Did you ask the person you spoke with if they were physically at POP? I know POR and POFQ can take faxed requests, and maybe AoA, but a call to the reservation line is really all you need to do.
I called the main reservation number and had our requests put on to the reservation. Then I did online check-in and checked off the requests, but there is no place to actually write what you are requesting, just check boxes. Hopefully we'll at least get something in our requested section, not on the first floor. We'll see next week!
