Room Requests and changes on MDE

I recently upgraded my reservation online from a standard to a preferred room at ASSp for next September. The upgrade went smoothly but I noticed that my Magical Express reservation was wrong. (We are staying at Universal for 3 days and then going to Disney.) It notes that we need one way transportation FROM MCO. It does say to call to change so I can do that. My other issue is that I can see no where to make a specific room request on MDE. We'd like to request Surf's UP since we changed to preferred. Am I missing the section where you can do that? I will probably just do the request when I call for the ME change, but am still curious as to how you would do this online! Thanks!

Specific requests can be made when you do your online check in or else contact the resort 5 days prior to arrival

You cannot contact the resort directly. You can call central reservations.

This should have been the online check in offer but pretty sure all of the preferred rooms are in Surfs Up only.

Thank you Hopperfan, but I tried the online check in section but it looks like I'm still way too far out to do anything there. I read recently on the DIS that Touchdown is now preferred as well but I'd like to be close to the food court and main pool! Looks like I have plenty of time to make the request!

Online check-in is only available once you get to the 60 day mark.
