Room Request

I heard they make room assignments about two weeks out. Is it best to make a room request closer to that date or does it matter.

It used to be 5 nights out, when reservations downloaded from CRS to the hotel system. That was for cash reservations, not sure about DVC. You can call/chat and add a request at any time, doesn't matter. Remember, nothing is guaranteed and if you want a certain room type/category, book it. Don't expect to be looking at the pool or a lake if you book a standard resort view.

I usually submit my request whenever I decide what it is. I don’t think there’s any advantage to waiting.
