Room Request

Should I wait until 30 days out to call the resort directly and make room request? My MIL has a scooter and my niece will have a stroller and I wasn't sure if they would both fit in the room well or if it would need to be a special room.

You cannot directly call any resort. You'll get central reservations, potentially claiming to be the resort.

There is no special request/special room for a stroller or a scooter. You make due with the room as laid out, or book something larger. They won't upgrade you because of a scooter.

HA rooms are generally the same size as other rooms in the booking category; they just tend to have ahdicap bathroom features.

Where are you staying? A folded up stroller and a scooter should probably fit in most rooms. But it could be tight in a value room.

Assuming since you say room, you are in the standard LM rooms. They are all the same size.

You will see MANY scooters at the value resorts and folks all pull them in the rooms fine.

I have stayed in all the values and the scooter fits fine. I usually move the tea a little and park it right by the window as there is a plug near there. You could put the stroller in the closet area by the sink. You should be fine

Many, many people staying onsite at WDW use strollers and/or scooters. Rest assured, the WDW rooms are designed to accommodate. While some will be bigger than others (deluxe vs. mod vs. value), there are no special rooms to specifically accommodate strollers and scooters.
