Room Request?

I sure this question has been answered before, but I am unable to find it. How long in advance should I make a room request? I am leaving for Boardwalk Villas in 4 weeks and was planning on calling to make a request, is this too soon or too late? Thanks for any input

You should have your request noted on your reservation when you book your room. Rooms are assigned about 5 days in advance. Call the main reservation line now and have them note your requests.

If you are booked via DVC, call Member Services to put in a request. If booked cash, call the main reservation line.

If you are booked DVC via a rental, the owner has to make your call.

Or just make your request with what is available with online check in.

Since you rented points, use online check in or contact the member to make a request. You can't call to make a request with a DVC rental.

Thanks, I will contact the owner. My Mother is staying at Boardwalk Inn and I had trouble with online check in last year. She is 81 and the room she had last year was close to the elevator and had a great view of the Village Green. She was also very fond of the mouse keeping staff on that floor and wants the same room. I know that will be close to impossible but I will try to get her a room close to where she was, I'm not sure if I can get her the same staff!
