room request with online check-in

hi,
could anyone till me if when doing online check-in you can request a certain room number or are you just given what you get, why i ask is that we have a stay booked at SSR and also my in-laws are there with us and we would like to be as close to each other as possible, any help would be grateful we go on the 15th august 09

Unless it's changed, we heard that online checkin gave you very limited ability to make requests, so many of us are not using it relying on the original requests noted and asking again at check in.

If you want to make a specific room request, you need to call Disney and ask them to note it in your reservation.

The request will not show up on the online check-in page, even though it's noted in the system.
