room request, when and which

Hi
When do we put in the room request in?

And can you please guide me in what to ask for since it Will be out first trip as members and first time seeing at these hotels?

1st week at AKV kidani village studio standard room
2nd week BWV studio boardwalk view.

We have 2 DD ages 6&2. Hhubby and I like to sit on balconies during the evening when we come back from parks and kids r sleeping. As well we don't go to parks everyday.

I can tell you that at Kidani, be sure to ask for "close to lobby", but don't count on it. I'm here now, and although I asked for close to lobby, it's a very, very far walk to where I am. Not a big Kidani fan right now.

I always e-mail member services about a month before. I'm 2 for 2 on requests this year.

For BWV, I would request top floor, quieter. If walking is an issue, request close to lobby, although there are not many boardwalk view studios close to the lobby.

Yes, I would estimate almost exactly 1/2 mile. I walk a mile every morning and it takes me about 20-24 minutes. The walk from the lobby is 10-12 minutes, walking steadily but not fast. DH comes in tonight and he's a runner. He plans to go to the lobby in the morning and we'll see then.
