Room request question

I know Disney doesn't guarantee room requests. My question is our flight doesn't land till 7:10PM, will that lessen our chance of getting the room location we want if we would have arrived earlier? Thanks!!

It shouldn't . The room assignments are done a few days prior to your check in so you should technically get the same room if you check in at 10 am or 10 pm.

and being nice with a big smile at check in goes a long way toward asking for a room location... usually if they can, they will

Should be OK, unless they give the room away to someone else who wants it.

What are you requesting? What really lessens your chances of getting what you want is how many things you request. A room in a specific building shouldn't be a problem depending on how full the resort is. It's when you add a specific floor and a specific view is when things get a little difficult for the room assignor.
