Can anyone recommend what room/area would be a good request? I know it is subjective but we are booked in a 2 bedroom villa with a pool view over Easter Break. I have read tons of threads but am still so confused. lol I would appreciate any/all help. Also, does anyone know if any of the two bedroom villas have continuous balconies (instead of two/three separate balconies). I love the idea of us all sitting outside together in the same space. Thanks so much for any/all suggestions!!

I don't know the answer but I'm curious too. We have a 2 bedroom pool view and I would prefer a continuous balcony also.

Am I right in assuming you have booked a villa in the Pool View category?

Many people ask for a high floor, hoping they can catch a glimpse of the ocean from their pool view villa. The Pool View category only goes up to the 5th floor so, at best, you'll have an obstructed view of the ocean.

Some people like to get the 1st floor villas. The main benefit is that you can walk out your villa via the patio door to the main pool. Its a great feature if you have older kids that might be running back and forth to the pools and the villa.

The only Pool View villas that have the continuous balconies are those in the Ewa Building Phase 1. See the maps in the first sticky on this thread on Aulani Villas & Views. The Pool View villas in the Waianae Building and in the Ewa Building Phase 3 have the angled, non-continuous balconies.

Did you book a dedicated two-bedroom villa or a lock-off two bedroom villa? If you booked a dedicated two-bedroom, there is only one villa (#550) at Aulani that is a dedicated two-bedroom with a continuous balcony. All the other dedicated two-bedrooms, which are in the Waianae and Ewa Building Phase 3 buildings, have the angled balconies.

There are six two-bedroom lock-offs that have the non-angled balconies, but they all have walls separating the 1-bedroom/living room section from the second bedroom (studio portion) section.

Confusing?
