Room request at POR

I know nothing is guaranteed but what do you think my chances are of getting a first floor room in AB? I dont want DH to have to carry a dbl stroller up a flight of steps multiple times a day!

I requested a bottom floor room because my mother could not climb stairs and they were very nice about it. I would call them and make the request. When you check in remind them again that you need a bottom level room. Good luck! We have been lucky to have had all requests granted for us in the past, though it is not guaranteed.

In September I think its pretty good personally, but what do I know? In August 2011, we received our first floor request. THis year we requested a specific building, so we'll see how it goes.

If your only requests are 1st flr AB I think your chances are excellent.

Are you driving or flying?

If you are flying then I would imagine they will be very good at honouring your request.

This past year we stayed at Caribbean Beach resort and we had a 2nd floor room. We found that since we drove it was really easy to leave the double stroller in the van rather than in the room. Then in the mornings when we came down on our way to the bus, we grabbed it and went. It also gave us soo much more room in our room without that big stoller taking up so much space. I don't know why we didn't do that the years before, lol.

Our plan is to do the same at POR, we will find a close parking spot to our room and leave the stroller locked in the van, I am imagining we will have even less space for a double stroller in the the AB rooms.

Why would honoring your room request be influenced by how you got there? It doesn't matter if you're driving or flying, a request is a request.
