We are staying at BCV for the first time in 12 years and I am so excited! We will be staying in a 1 bedroom, does anyone know the room numbers to request that would have the Epcot views? I know that request are not guaranteed but I would love to try. Thanks!

I wouldn't use room numbers, I would request Epcot view.

For others reading, the Epcot view isn't really considered a good view and you are above Epcot resorts blvd.

I think the noise from the street prevented me from enjoying our balcony the few times I had a great view of Illuminations from BCV.

We are staying at BCV for only our 2nd time this summer....not that familiar with the various there....I think the last time I requested a higher floor with a view of the pool. Would that be one of the better requests? (ie should I put in the same request for this summer for a quieter room?) Are there better views?! I was already debating about asking for a room that has already gone thru the refurb so as to not get stuck with a room that is bad need of a refurb.

For us the pool view is the only view!

We had a pool view years ago when we stayed there and were very happy. On the early check in site does anyone know what "canal view" is?

The canal runs behind the pool and under the BCV building. I wouldn't call it a view!

That site is the one I've looked at too. We've had pool view, front entrance view, Epcot view and woods view. Pool view was nice, but I prefer the woods or Epcot view most. The Epcot view was the top of the land and spaceship earth. I did not care for the entrance view at all! We were close to the main elevator so the hall was noisy and I like to have a little privacy on the balcony. We were in 563 a studio with Epcot view last trip and I liked it because we were close to the back elevator and it was very quiet.

Checked in yesterday. Had requested a high floor and Epcot view. Ended up on the 2nd floor with a pool view. What are you going to do...

epcot view is a relative term at BCV. We've had rooms which should have been great epcot views and we can see trees + the tops of attractions/buildings/countries + fireworks. But I personally wouldn't call it "epcot view" - I guess I think of park views as front and center great views like at the Grand Cali hotel or park views at BLT. It's hard/luck of the draw to get view rooms at BCV. it is what it is.

Thanks for info. We will be happy with whatever we get!

Are some studios larger then others? For instance on touringplans.com, the rooms ending with 55 look larger? Are they good rooms to request?

We have always have had a woods view...can be very quiet unless you are on the first floor and the road is right in front of the woods. Zoom zoom...quiet in the room, not so much on the patio.

So I read on one of the threads to email member services with your request. Is this still the case? If so, what is the email address?
