See this map which shows location of standard view rooms: i.imgur.com/G2qaSva.png You cannot make location requests for the value rooms and view will be either of the pool area, Sunset Savanna. or front of the building looking toward the parking lot. Without any requests, you are at least guaranteed that all rooms will be on the 5th floor.
The closest standard view rooms to the values are the ones directly above the lobby, shown in the first map as 5202-5209 (which have savanna view) and 5401-5406 (which have pool area view). If you want all the rooms to be somewhat close to each other, then the best location request to make for the standard view rooms is "close to the lobby," but that could easily result in pool view for the standards (you could possibly request being in the specific room numbers above the lobby but that significantly lowers the chances of having the request granted, with the result that you could end up far from the lobby.
If instead you want a much higher chance of getting standard view rooms with a savanna view, but face the risk that they may be far from the lobby and your value room, then, for your standard view rooms, put in a request for the rooms to be on the Kudo Trail side of the building -- all standard view rooms on that side of the building have Sunset Savanna view.
You could put in a "traveling with" request, noting that you would like to have the rooms as close as possible to each other because you are all together, but when both value and standard view rooms are involved, that would likely to be about the same as requesting the standard view rooms be near the lobby.
