Room ready notices?

We are not arriving until late tonight, but usually I have gotten a " your room is not ready" notice. Today I have not. Does that mean I will have to plan on going to the front desk? I know I did on line check in. At 10PM or later, I was hoping to save the trip to lobby, we are at SSR.

I have never gotten a "room not ready" notice. I didn't know they sent them, but then again, we rarely get to WDW before mid afternoon. Lately we have been arriving after 5pm due to changes in flight schedules. So perhaps they don't bother sending us a "room not ready" since they know we won't be checking in until after 4pm.

We do get "room ready" notices, sometimes before we board the plane to MCO but always by the time we get off the plane at MCO.

I think our room not ready notice comes close to our scheduled arrival time.

We have always gotten the "not ready" in the morning. Oh well, I will hope something comes by the time we arrive in MCO.

If you don't get room ready text by 4pm maybe call in and see if they can tell you room number. We did this a few weeks ago. Also check your email. One time they sent us a room ready email but no text even though I set up our cell number to get text.

We stayed at SSR last weekend. Received a "room not quite ready" text at 10:30 am and the "room ready" text at 2 pm. I think I put noon as the arrival time during online check in.

I usually put an arrival time between 1:00 and 3:00 and I've never got a "room not ready" notice. I've been lucky - my last 2 or 3 stays at BWV and Poly I got the room ready text shortly before I got there.
