room or rooms for 8 one night near disney

Hello everyone. First thanks to you all for everything I have been watching and learning from on the boards. We have a family of 8, my hubby, myself, and 6 kids and yes we are heading to disney. We have family in st augustine who we will visit at the start of vacation, then off to tampa to my brothers for thanksgiving, then on november 30th we need a room for one night near disney to stay, all of us. From dec 1 thru the 5th we have 2 rooms at the marriott in dtd for that 20.03 rate thanks to these boards. If anyone has suggestions for a room or a nice place for us to stay that would be great. We thought about taking two days to do universal so that is also an option. Thanks for helping in advance. (One of the kids is a baby)

I would look on the hotel discounts page of this site. Dreams has the Courtyard by Marriott for 39.00 dollars a night.

I would try hotelkingdom.com for rooms that fit 8. They have numberous options in everyone price range.

I just got back from a trip to Orlando. We stayed two nights at the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club, which I booked through hotelkingdom.com for $89 per night. The condo had two bedrooms (one with two double beds and one with a king size bed), two bathrooms, sofa bed, full kitchen, washer and dryer, jacuzzi tub and 52 inch tv. It was quite nice and a very good bargain. I think it would fit your needs perfectly. We were a short and easy drive to WDW.

yes it is a timeshare and no you don't have to do the presentation - you are booking through an a hotel website.

of course if you don't mind during the presentation - call the place directly - they will probably give you a better rate because of your willing to listen to their sales pitch.
