Room only

If I book room only is it hard to switch to package last minute ...??? I would like to book my room and pay it off within a few months and then save up the rest and add on tickets within a month before the trip..

You would have to cancel your "room only" reservation and make a new booking for the "package" reservation. You can't just add tickets to a room only reservation. They are technically two separate companies. Sorry.

Money cannot be transferred between the two. You would have to pay for the package in full and wait for the refund on the room only. So really no sense paying more than the 1 night deposit on the room only. Do you want to add the dining plan? If not, I would just buy your tickets separate through a discounter like Undercover Tourist.

You should buy tickets through a reputable third party IF thats your plan, places like Mousesavers or undercover tourist offer discounted tickets. Could save you anothe few bucks

Otherwise, sounds like a good plan.

IF disney offers a better deal between now and then, you can always change your ressie to that deal.
