Room only switch to package?

I have a room only reservation right now and it can be cancelled/modified up to 5 days before check-in. Does this mean if I want to switch it to a package w/ dining I can wait until 6 days before to do this, as long as I pay for the entire thing when I switch it? Thanks!

Room Only's cannot be simply switch to package. They must be cancelled/rebooked as a package. Any deposits being refunded and new ones made.
