Oh boy, do I need help on this one.

I reserved a room only reservation through disneyworld.com.
I also bought theme park tickets through disneyworld.com

My dilema.......

I want to turn this all into a package and add the MYW dining to it.
Has anyone had any success in doing this?
I called twice today, and neither one of the girls could help me.

I am going to call the ticket central place tomorrow and see if they can do anything about it.

Any help at all PLEASE...... :confused3 :flower:

I switched a room only to a package, but they have to cancel the room only and start over with a new reservation. Make sure your package is available b/f they cancel your room onlys!

Have you received your tickets?? I had to keep the tickets that I already had and buy new ones with the package (to make it a package). You could, if you had to keep your old tickets, buy a 1-day ticket for everyone in your room to qualify as a package. I just kept my old ones for the next trip!

Sorry, but that is all that I know!

Thankyou for your reply.
I dont think it would be worth doing that since we only go every 3-4 years and I think even 1 day park tickets would offset the money I would be saving otherwise.
darn
anyone else?

I was in the same boat. But the more I though about it I'm glad I didn't go with the Dining plan. :mickeybar

1. DS will only eat limited foods chicken strip, plain hamburgers, pepperoni pizza, and pretzels and ice cream.

2. If everyone is going to be on the dining plan won't there be a terrible line.

3. What if you can't get PS for the restaurant you choose on the day your at the park won't you have to come out of pocket and go somewhere else.

4. I don't want to have to my day scheduled around meals.

Anyway thats just me I don't want to micro-manage my meals.

I booked room only since I wasn't sure what type of tickets we wanted. When I tried to "convert" my reservation to a package and add tickets, the person at reservations added 7 day hoppers to the room. I questioned why she gave me a separate confirmation number but since she had no clue, I called back later to talk to someone who had a clue. That agent told me I'd have to try to have the "ticket central" people, "but they won't refund them". I left a message at the ticket number and a VERY nice agent called me back. She was great and completely understood what I wanted to do. She is crediting my account for the $700+ dollars for the wrong passes. Since I had no luck with the people at reservations on the phone, I just booked a vacation package, then went and cancelled the room-only reservation. I've seen a lot of people here at DIS comment on the lack of knowledge of the people at central reservations. I have never run into so many people who have no idea what is going on at WDW. If you are reading this and work there, I sincerely apologize and hope to get you next time I call!

Good luck!
