Room Only Reservation - pay with gift card?

I've never had a room only res before, so I can't remember if this is possible: I don't get charged for the room until I arrive, right? So can I pay for my room with a Gift Card when I arrive?

At the time of booking you'll be required to pay a 1 night deposit. Once you arrive at the resort the remaining balance is due. This can be paid however you'd like, including check, cash, credit card, or git card.

Beware though, if you do online check in and give a credit card to your account, there are reports of that card on file being charged the morning of check in automatically - before you arrive.
It can be reversed but it is a bit of a hassle.
But yes a Gift Card can be used to pay the balance.

It's only a 1 night stay. Already reserved with my credit card. Oh well. 5% savings on one night at a value resort isn't that much anyway, lol.

For info, what we did was called and put gift cards on the account ahead of time so we didn't have to bring them with us.
I let a small balance in case I was charged like some have reported and to attach a card to my band.
Honestly it was a pain because you had to scratch the back of each card and it took longer then expected to process each card but the savings of buying them at SAMs was worth it I guess since I'm going to do it again this time.

I do a lot of room only stays. I'm a passholder.
I make the required 1 night stay deposit up front, then I pay for my room in full before I go.
I buy Disney gift cards at my leisure, and call Disney to make the payments.
I prefer to have it all paid off before I go.
This trip I am staying 1 night at AS sports then 6 nights at POP, it's all paid off already.
