Room only reservation for 2020

I’m an annual pass holder and I have a resort stay booked for November. I planned on buying park tickets for my kids and husband, but didn’t get a chance to before the ticket freeze went into effect. I made my park reservations yesterday thinking I could modify my resort reservation and add tickets tomorrow, but now I see that’s only for 2021 reservations. Is my family out of luck here? We already canceled four trips this year and my kids will be heartbroken if I have to cancel this one too!

Tickets are not currently for sale, even if you have a resort reservation. This may change before November. Were you able to make park reservations for them without tickets?

They did say that 2020 tickets will be available later this summer, but I have a good feeling it will be sooner than that.

It seems as though they halted them so they could give those with tickets a chance to book first. By end of this month, that will be true, so hopefully, that will allow Disney to start selling again as they will have a better idea of what is and is not booked.
