Room only reservation change on MDE

Sorry if this has already been posted but I think this is something new so I wanted to share. The "change reservation" option is now available on MDE for room only reservations. I think previously it was only available for packages. I had never seen it before yesterday because we always book room only. I logged on to get my reservation # to call but was able to change YC to BWI online without any issues. Even showed what I had already paid and my new amount. Soooo easy. You can change dates/rate type/resort, etc.

It's been available for quite a while. I've used it sucessfully three times, and all reservations were in previous years. I know I used it in August 2015.

Note: My experience is that it is only available for reservations that have been made directly through Disney. I have had past room only reservations that were either bouncebacks, made through Orbitz or made through a travel agent, and those do not allow the "Change reservation" option.

Yes, it has been available for room only reservations for awhile now (and yes, it is SO awesome!).

Unless this has changed recently, it's package reservations that cannot be changed online.

Glad you found the change feature though - I use it a lot!
