Room Only PIN-? on tix/dining

Trying to plan/book a trip for Jan 13-17. Trip falls under free dining as well as general public room only offer. Looking to stay @ AKL. Also have PIN which gets me 35% off room only (as opposed to 25% on AKL with the GP Room-Only).

I have run the numbers and the cheapest way to do this is to use the PIN-with DDP and 3 day base tix I come out about $40 cheaper with the PIN than with the 'free dining' offer.

My question is this-
Can I book the Room Only @ 35% off and then add tix/dining at check in? If so, will the costs change? I would prefer to pay cash for the trip which will be possible come January so I am trying to avoid booking a package if I can and having to charge it.

You can NOT add DDP at check in.

You can not change a room only into a package. You have to cancel the room only and rebook as a package so waiting until Jan won't work for the pin as I'm sure you have to book with the pin before then.

You could book it as a package with say 1 day tickets. You have to add the DDP a few days (maybe 48 hours?) before check in.
