Room-only discounts in December?

We may need a one-night stay at a value resort in early December. When are discounts typically released for that time, and historically, what have the discounts been like at value resorts? (We like to stay at Pop, but I can be flexible.)

Last year it looks like general public room-only discounts that covered December came out 8/8/16.

FWIW, I would be somewhat worried you won't find a one-night room only discount. There are usually length-of-stay restrictions with Disney's offers.
