Room only discount window question

So I know "free dining" is based on arrival dates.

For room only discounts, if you arrive within a room discount window, but the discount window ends during your stay, can you still get the discount for the whole stay? Or just the days in the window?

I am planning a trip for next year. I see for 2011, there was a discount from 1/1-2/16/11. If there was a stay from 2/15-2/20, for example--- would the room discount still apply all 5 nights?

I believe the answer to the question is no. You only get it on the day(s) you are there during that window.

The pp is correct all your dates have to fall within the discounted dates window although you can add dates to the end of same reservation at rack rate. If you have dates that fall before the discounted window then you have to have 2 separate reservations.
