I will be doing a 1-night stay in February (prior to starting a longer DVC rental). Since it would just be a place to rest for the night I’m going to go with whatever is cheapest, including whatever room-only discounts become available (I’m also an AP). Normally I don’t bother with dining plan since I can use discounts, but I realized by adjusting my dining schedule I could save over $50 by getting the Deluxe Dining Plan for that 1 night. Normally in that instance I would end up with a non-ticketed package, but does that mean I’m also going to forgo any room-only discount? I guess in the scheme of things $50 food savings is more than $10 room savings, but if anyone knows a way I can get both, I’d appreciate it!
