I'm waiting on a GP or PIN code for January 2012, but I'm losing hope. The Free Dining promo starts after my check-in date, and I'm worried any room-only promo would have the same issue. I hope something comes through!

Our final payment is due tomorrow. I'm calling today to switch from BC to POR and pay it off. If a RO GP comes out I willswutch to that and upgrade to either ssr 1 bdrm or back to BC and get the qsdp that we prefer. If not, we will stick with POR and keep the cash.
There is plenty of avail for our week so I can't image thy won't discount the rooms at some point.

Interesting. I don't think I'm waiting until Sept 25 to book my backup plan. For sure there won't be anything I want left by then.

Yes, in 2008, the GP RO discount did came out 9/25/08, but the GP package discount came out 8/14/08 which never materialized this year.

Hard to figure out what is going for fall, 2011. Was hoping for the typical 40% off, but am happy I got 30% this weekend. I really couldn't take waiting much longer, especially since my dates were blacked out for FD.

Looking back over this year, the package deal (Kids Stay Free) was released on the same day as the room-only. In any event, I would expect to see something this week.

Finally some rooms became available again at the CR for my dates. Really hoping for a RO now, I may actually be able to apply it to my reservation. I knew before I would just have to be happy with my AAA discount.

But in 2008 I don't think they did a GP fall (Oct 1 forward) free dining plan. I'm thinking that's sort of the same thing in their eyes. (Not for someone not wanting FD, but still a discount)

There wasn't a GP free dining during that time in 2008, but there was a free dining offer for Disney Visa Cardholders.
