I receive PINS in my mother-in-laws name all the time, which Disney cruelly won't let me use without bringing her. We got one for 9/18-11/18 & 11/26-12/22. 25 % off Values and Moderates, 35 % off Deluxes. I think we'll see this go public very shortly, though!

Do you live at the same address as your MIL? Our pin was addressed to another family member living with us with a different last name and we were allowed to use it without his being present.

Hoping for a PIN or some type of discount to come up for late October/early November for room only. The DDP doesn't work for us anymore as getting TS ressies at the time that they are needed didn't work (medical reasons) - much easier to buy a CS meal. Although we enjoyed the DDP the first time, we find it easier to just eat where we are at the time and not have to re-arrange our day just to be at any particular restaurant.

Okay, here's another question. I'd like a GP discount, but if that doesn't happen, can I get a discount with my AAA card? What is the discount, generally? We're going close to Christmas, but not during the craziest time- 12/19-12/23. And then would it have to be room only? Right now I'm booked for a MYW package, no dining, through my TA. And would I be able to keep the same room? Just wondering if anybody has any experience with this.

Nope different address. We signed up a few years ago when she was coming with us to get the PIN codes, and managed to get her name on the list. We never used it because we got GP free dining instead. Since then, we get about a dozen PINs a year that we can never use. Frustating as heck...

Thanks for the info. We received a pin and were able to book at the Poly for our trip in December, but the resort where we want to stay (GF garden view) is not available. I am confused by this, though, since garden view rack rate rooms are available online. Does this just mean that the GF is already "above the line" for bookings? How do I book online using the pin rate? I don't see anywhere to input that info when I search for resort availability...

I am still hoping for a room discount for October but did end up booking with AAA in the meantime. They said they could apply a discount (if it came out and if there was availability at my resort). The discount I got through them was just a bit over 10% on the room only. Not the biggest discount I was hoping for but better than nothing!

We just got a discount code in the mail yesterday. We haven't been to WDW in over 15 years and have a DCL cruise booked for this Dec. I have been doing a lot of playing with pricing on the Disney Parks website. I wonder if that is what generated our code? Either way, we are making our reservations soon and this will really help out!! Good luck to those waiting!!!!!

I received the 35%off deluxes last week but the dates were for Sept til Nov, I think. I was bummed because we are going at the end of Aug. I called today and was told I had a 35% off pin that included my dates . I was able to upgrade to the Poly from ASMo. Woohoo!!!!!

Just like any discount there are only a certain number of rooms on the AAA discount. You can book a room only AAA discount through Disney directly or any TA. You can get the AAA discount on the room portion of a package too but must book through AAA only.
