Help, I'm a newbie and this is my first post. Go to funjet.com. Click on room only and the price for AK savannah view is $1228. I was able to remove the park passes. What do you think? Isn't this a good deal? Thank you for your help, DrCandi

I went to the website and tried it. I was able to take the park tickets off and was quoted $1058 for the Poly, GV, 5 nights, which comes out to $211.60/night. Not a bad deal. I've never heard of this company though and don't know if I would trust booking this. Has anyone ever booked through this site?

I just tried this site too. I went after All Stars Sports and removed the park tickets. The quoted price was the rack room only price. If this is the case for all hotels in WDW, you might be better off to book through WDW and use AAA if possible.

I haven't personally used funjet vacations, but I'm pretty sure they're a reputable company. I've seen them listed on various other vacation package sites alongside Delta, and USAir. I've also ridden in Mears shuttles with people that have used them.

We've booked with them on Vegas & trips to Mexico twice. Never a problem. They have been around in STL for as long as we've been traveling.

Tried it and was able to get $211/night for a BCV studio for our dates in Jan. which was way better than the $273 we've currently got w/AAAA. Passes and all extras could be removed.

I didn't book it though -- you do have to pay all of the costs up front and the cancellation policy isn't generous. If you cancel at three days out or more PRIOR to the trip, you have to pay a minimum charge of $50 per person, regardless of the reason unless you have their travel insurance and you cancel for a covered reason. If you cancel less than 48 hours out, you get no money back at all. This is just for land only -- if you include air, the penalties are higher. Maybe if I was closer to my dates I might do it, but too many things can change between now and then and I don't want to be out a couple hundred bucks.

Yikes! The price they're giving me is $232 more than the price I got from DU for the same room (it's even more than Disney quoted)! I think I'll go with DU on this one...that's almost a car payment for us!

I was getting a quote for 6 nights AKL savannah view, for early Feb 2004
Rack rate is $275 X6= 1650 + tax
Their rate is $1228 with travel insurance and taxes included.
My sister-in-law has used funjet numerous times and has never had a problem. She books cruises ($159 for 5 nights on carnival-she's leaving this weekend), cancun resorts, vegas trips, etc.
She never has gotten the travel insurance because she doesn't have young children and she has never cancelled.

I used funjet several years ago when we went to Las vegas. they are highly reputable and have been around awhile.

We have used funjet twice. Once to Jamaica and the other to Cancun. They are very well known and a trustworthy company. Awesome deals. We got a seven night all-inclusive vacation with air to Mayan Riviera for $600 a person this summer. You ought to have seen the faces of the people at the resort when I told them the deal I got. They paid twice as much.

I went to the website and punched in my dates (Christmas Week) and it essentially gave me AP rates if I take off the park passes option for POR and Y/C. I wonder if when you actually go to book it, it will force you to add the tickets back in?? Not a bad deal...
