Room only Deposit due date?

Has it changed from 14 days to make deposit. We called tonight for a ressie and were told deposit is due 10/14/13. Not even a week.

Yes shorter now. They won't hold one for me to contact my DH who is overseas. They said they needed a deposit & I would get it back if he didn't like it. I told no it would just a day that they needed to hold it(this is for a trip in Dec 2013) Good thing a better deal came my way & the CM would hold it until I talked to DH lol

It used to be 14 days, but was changed a few years ago to 7. With that said, unless it's changed again since August, you should have 7 days to make the deposit. I booked in August when the fall RO discounts came out and I was given 7 days in which to make my deposit.

thanks. We were not given 7 days. Called last night to book and was told deposit is due by the 14th which us only 4 days.

Does the reservation confirmation show 10/14 to be the due date as well?

That's interesting, unless Disney changed it again recently . Booking with a code wouldn't make a difference as I had 7 days when I booked with a promo in August for December.

I don't know what is going on/ I asked the Cm if there had been a change from 14 days and she said yes but didn't explain. Oh Well.
