Room-only deal with a TA

We checked with American Express and they are quoting us a couple dollars less than the disney site. This is for the room only.

My question is if we do book the room-only, how do we go about getting tickets and can we add the dining plan?

You need to have a package to get the dining plan.

There are a million ways to get tickets...at the Disney store, order online (from various sources), at your hotel, at the park itself, etc.

You can't add the Dining Plan to a room-only reservation - have to get some kind of package.

If you book room only you cannot add the dining plan - that can only be purchased with a package that includes at a minimum 1 day base tickets for everyone in the group.

Tickets can be purchased seperately from many different places including from the sponsor of these board at THIS LINK

No, in order to book the dining plan you need to have at least a 1 day base ticket with your package...God Luck!

If you are willing to skip the dining plan.. YES... you can purchase tickets at Check-in and have them added to your room keys. I've done this exact thing several times.

I'm so confused. I want to have everything reserved by the end of the week and am not sure which resort or which way to reserve the rooms (TA or through Disney).

THROUGH DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You get to keep 'control' of your reservation. If you go through a Travel Agent, all contact with Disney has to be through the Agent.
