Room Only Bookings

I am going to Disney in April '06, I was just wondering if I was to book a room-only reservation at where I'm gonna stay and then a discount came up can I change it without any worries? (if there's still rooms available under the discount of course) I try making since of all the rules for booking and cancellation and stuff, but it seems I"ll never totally keep it straight. Any help would be great!!

Yes you can book a room only now at the resort of your choice. If a discount comes out later you can call and have that applied to your reservation.
We have done this in the past with no problems. Must add that I got tired of keeping watch for discounts, codes, etc. so last year we made our WDW reservation through Small World Vacations (WDWVacations.com) that we found on mousesaver.com. They originally got us a AAA discount and as time went on two better deals came out and they made the changes (always with our permission) and ended up saving us $800.00. They also made all our dining reservations for us. We had a great agent (Josephine) and super service. Can't beat it since it's FREE. These Disney specialists can do a much better job looking for discounts than me.
