When you book with the room-only discount code AZZ, are the ultimate hopper passes still included with the room?

No, a room-only reservation is just that, room only.

You can either add the tickets when you check in, or you could change your reservation to a Dream Maker package.

If you make a "room only" reservation it does not include any park tickets. You can add them later or at the hotel. If you purchase an unltimate park hopper at the hotel they can remove the first or last days (maybe both). This is good if you don't plan on a theme park visit on arrival date or departure date or both.

There is also a discount code available for packages in September. You can compare prices yourself, if you are so inclined, on WDW's website which no allows you to use the September discounts when booking online (although you don't actually have to book it to see the prices).

BTW - As I understand it, anytime you get anything added to a "room-only" reservation, such as park tickets, meal plans, etc., it becomes a package.
