Here is what I'm thinking of doing in March: First night room only since we won't get to the resort until about 7 pm after riding ME. Then the next 5 nts. the MYW package with dining. All of this with AAA discount. We will leave for our return flight early in the morning around 7:30. Has anyone done this? What are the chances they'll make me switch rooms? When I did this w/ the 7 for 4 package and room only I never had to switch.

You won't need to switch rooms as long as your TA books it as a "linked reservation". You may have to go down and get new keys but they have also been known to be super nice and slip them under your door between 2-4am if the desk person is in a great mood and not busy.

booking 2 night room onlies (is that a word?!) for 8/25 - 8/26 and then package for value season 8/27 - 9/3. also hoping not to have to move. another question though, if I book a water view for the 1st 2 nights, do you think they'll let me keep it even though the package will be standard view? if I ask PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR ON TOP??

I would 99% count on moving.

We booked Sept 2004 @ AKL 1st night room only savannah view and the next 6 nights standard. We were able to stay in the savannah view the entire stay. I don't know if it was because it was during a slower time or we were pixie dusted. ;) You never know! Good Luck! :wave2:
