room number 6085

Hello

In the future we are going on the disney wonder.
It is our third cruise, but the first time on the wonder. We have stateroom 6085, can someone tell us how this room is like? It is above the nursery and the oceaneer club, do you have any noise from these in the stateroom?

Here is a report from #6087....right next door:

I had booked this room before I knew my husband would be joining us. Inside stateroom with no split bath, wished I had booked an outside w/veranda. Missed it. Not noisy had a nice quiet corridor. Orginally is was to be my dd and myself so I figured it would be plenty of room for the 2 of us. Next time I will check into the difference in price for an outside stateroom. Love the trip as always, Disney cruise line is the best!!!

We had 6088 across the hall (although on the Magic - identical locations). Not noisy and a great location.

My DD and her friend shared 6085 on the Magic in March '04 (sister ship, so same cabin as the Wonder). They never had a problem with noise from the Oceaneer Club. And Flounder's Nursery isn't under any cabins (the deck plans don't show anything over it, just gray space), so no noise from there either. Nice mid-ship area. DH and I had 6088 across the hall and had no problems with noise from other decks either.

Noise from insensitive clods who think nothing of running down the hallways or letting their cabin doors slam shut at all hours of the night is something else But I imagine you'd have that issue anywhere on the ship.

That's the room we had on our second cruise. We were next door in 6083 for the first one. We've requested it each time since then, and never gotten it because it's always booked. It was great--absolutely no noise at all, and close to the aft elevators for those trips up to Deck 9's drink station, and a quick walk down to the restaurants, theaters and shops. Because it's pretty far down the hallway, you don't get too many people passing by the door which limits hallway noise, too. You'll find my pictures from that trip here.
