I will be going on the Disney Magic. I have concerns about the noise level that I am reading about on Deck 2. Has anyone been in Room 2626 and if so how bad was the noise?
 
2626 is directly above a large hatch that they use to service the ship while the ship is in port. Barb and Tony stayed there once and they warn people away from this room at every opportunity. Unless you're a really early bird, choose another room.

As for noise, in general on Deck 2... for the majority of the rooms, Deck 2 is very quiet and you should have no problem staying there. But there are some zones where staterooms are near loud mechanical equipment (electrical lockers, transformer rooms, a/c equipment rooms, ship's propellers, cargo hatches, etc.).

So with the disclaimer that "your mileage may vary" and that you may be willing to put up with the "dull roar" in exchange for a good fare, these are the rooms that are in noisy zones:
