Room no longer available error

I am getting a weird error message when trying to modify a reservation. I booked a room at 7 month mark for 3 days and now (3 weeks later) I’m trying to modify it to only 2 of the days. The issue I am getting is when I try to modify to shorter stay for days I already have it shows as avaiable for date selection but when I try to proceed I get error that room is no longer available. I thought this was a fluke with system so tried again this evening but still getting same error. I figure a call to memeber services is in my future tomorrow but I wanted to ask if anyone ever had this issue before (in case it’s relevant it’s for grand Floridian studio booked with okw direct points).
 
There is another thread about this. Many ppl including myself are experiencing the same scenario. Call MS if you need help right away. You may need to explain lots of members are having the same, very frustrating problem,

I called MS about this yesterday. The CM admitted it is a "glitch". I was trying to get 4 nights at BCV that showed as available. CM said none of those nights are available. I did explain that many other owners are frustrated by this "glitch".

The contract I was using is direct and well within 7 months. He was sending a note to IT. No word on when it will be fixed or why it is even happening. So frustrating!

No matter what I try to book, I now get the message that what I want is no longer available. I should be able to at least waitlist the desired room. I sent an email to them. It’s extremely frustrating.
