Is there a room map of the Pop Century somewhere? Id like to try and request a specific room. Is that possible? What the best way to do that? On the phone with a WDW salesperson or call the resort? Thank you!

You definitely can request a specific room. Your odds are very slim you'll get it. It's much better to request what you're looking for in a room. Makes it much easier for the room assignors to grant your requests.

There is no way to call the resort. Your best bet is to call the Main Reservations line and add any room requests to your reservation. This can be done anytime from the day you book up until 4-5 days out.

I agree. If you just request one specific room, the assignors have no idea WHY you want that particular room. You are better off requesting by the reasons why you want the room, like "top floor, away from elevators, quiet location" or "ground floor, near transportation" or whatever it is that you need. If you actually want a particular room because of a specific reason (maybe you spent your honeymoon there or something) you can always try, but the odds are extremely slim that the room you want will be available. They won't block it months ahead of time - it just depends on whether someone is already occupying the room when they start assigning rooms for your check in date.

I would call and request what you want, and then I probably would skip online check in and go to the desk to discuss whether your request was met so you can work with the CM to find a good fit for you if it wasn't.

We requested a specific room at Pop and weren’t anywhere near that room. We still got 70s and highest floor but weren’t close to that section I asked for. We still had a great time and they technically gave me what I requested. I probably should’ve asked for lake view instead of highest floor but that’s okay.
