We are staying at the Beach Club Resort 5/3-5/10. We have a 6yr old and 7 yr old.

Is it better to stay in a room near the pool or near Epcot's entrance or the Boardwalk's entrance?

What would you recommend with 2 young children?

We stayed at the Yacht Club and they share the pool. I would recommend staying near the pool as it can be a long walk to that pool with little ones. The YachtClub and Beach Club can be sprawling.

We stayed at BC last year in room 5637 with our then 1-year-old and my then-pregnant-self. I thought this was a nice location. It was close to the elevators to the central main lobby. It also overlooked the back entrance to the resort and had a full balcony. We were also very close to the concierge lobby. I would try to get a room close to an exit because those hallways are very long!

We stayed at Beach Club in October. Our children were 20 months and 5yrs. We had requested a full balcony and at check in were told we wouldn't be able to get one. We did get room 1505 on ground level with a small patio area with an awesome view, table and chairs. We were close to the quiet pool and extremely close to Epcot. I think we had the best location at the BC.

Thanks for your input.

I know I have a water view room. I guess convenience to Epcot and the pools is more practical than a full balcony and a great view?

would anyone agree? Or are there rooms that have all of these features?

I guess I should call the BC.

Thanks again

3608 parking lot view, n/s, standing balcony, "half way down the hall"

2635 n/s, GREAT LOCATION up the stairs from the lobby and a few doors down, full balcony overlooking the rear main entrance--it's one of the rooms that is right behind the large butterfly topiary. Obstructed view of SAB, side view of the lake.

3719 TERRIBLE ROOM--DO NOT ACCEPT THIS ROOM! N/S, No balcony (I mean no balcony, there is a window that has a view of a roof top and the back of a facade, a long walk from anything. I can't believe they charged us rack rate for this room, and had I not gotten in at 2:00am and checked out the next day at 11:00am, I never would have stayed there.

1545 n/s ground floor courtyard by quiet pool. Quiet room, easy to access Epcot.

thanks, anne, for all the details. It is very helpful.

Does anybody know if a "Waterview room" exists that is close to the pool, close to Epcot and has a full balcony??
